Sustainability
Our commitment to the planet
Timber is one of nature's most sustainable building materials. We're committed to ensuring it stays that way.
Building with nature, not against it
At Plank, sustainability isn't an afterthought—it's fundamental to everything we do. From forest to floor, we ensure our products contribute positively to the environment while delivering the beauty and performance our customers expect.
Engineered timber flooring is inherently sustainable. By using a thin veneer of precious hardwood over a cross-laminated core, we maximize the value of each tree while creating a product that's more stable and durable than solid timber alternatives.
Our pillars
Sustainability commitments
01
Responsible Sourcing
All our timber is sourced from certified sustainable forests. We partner with suppliers who share our commitment to forest management and biodiversity conservation.
02
Carbon Footprint
We actively work to minimize our carbon footprint through efficient logistics, local manufacturing where possible, and continuous improvement of our supply chain.
03
Waste Reduction
Our manufacturing processes are designed to maximize yield and minimize waste. Off-cuts and sawdust are repurposed for energy generation and composite products.
04
Certifications
Our products carry FSC and PEFC certifications, providing assurance that our timber comes from responsibly managed forests.
